The story took some interesting turns last season, and we got to learn major things about Ciri’s abilities. The Witcher Season 2 ended with the reveal of the Wild Hunt itself, with Geralt, Ciri, Yeneffer, and Jaskier deciding to leave Kaer Morhen and Vessemir to venture into the unknown.  This means the Witcher Season 3 might explore Ciri’s newly discovered powers as well as introduced viewers to new foes.

All The Witcher Season Three Leaks & Rumors So Far

As of right now, Netflix and the team working on The Witcher have kept a tight ship about what is going on in production. There hasn’t been too much that has leaked out and, so far, the rumor mill has been pretty deprived of anything that would be considered even somewhat reliable. That said, there has been some official information released about The Witcher Season 3, let’s run through what we do and don’t know about The Witcher Season 3 so far.

The Witcher Season 3 Release Date

As of now, no official release date or window has been shared for the Witcher Season 3. Given that Season 3 entered production in April, it will be a while till we since Geralt back in action.  The Witcher Season 2 took two years to release, so chances are that the third might drop sometime in December 2023. 

Does the Witcher Season 3 Have a Trailer?

Unfortunately, there’s no official teaser or trailer for the Witcher Season 3. This is again because the third season is currently still in its filming stages and it’s unlikely that a trailer for the next season will release anytime soon. However, we will update this article, as and when an official trailer or teaser for the Witcher Season 3 releases.

All Confirmed Casts for the Witcher Season 3

Most of the previous cast members will be reprising their respective roles for the Witcher Season 3, meaning we will get to see Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia again. However, some new faces will also be making their way into the series. Here’s a look at every cast member for the Witcher Season 3 confirmed so far:

One actor whose return isn’t yet confirmed is Adjoa Andoh, who plays the role of High Priestess Nenneke, one of Geralt’s old friends. In an interview with RadioTimes, she said that she was uncertain whether she will make a comeback to the series or not:

The Witcher Season 3 Plot

One of the major plot reveals about the Witcher Season 3 comes via the showrunner Lauren Hissrich. In one of their tweets, Lauren mentioned that the Witcher Season 3 will be based on Time of Contempt, the second novel in Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher series.
