Prisoner Rescue in CoD Modern Warfare 2 Explained
The new multiplayer mode, Prisoner Rescue, showcases a series of rounds where you must defend or rescue prisoners in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Each team comprises six members, and you can check the status of your group by looking at the icons at the top of the screen. In this mode, there are various maps that you can explore, and you won’t be able to respawn if an enemy kills you. While playing on the defensive side, you’ll need to guard the prisoners (they’ll have blue-colored symbols) and eliminate enemies who will try to take them. If your team can keep these characters safe, your group will earn 50 points for each rescued individual. As the match goes on, you’ll switch sides and be tasked with an objective to extract the prisoners to a specific destination. However, before you grab these characters, it should be noted that you won’t be able to use heavy artillery while carrying them. So, it’s best to have one of your teammates close by just in case an enemy sneaks up on you. In addition, players can drop the prisoner temporarily and use this time to clear the area. You will also have the opportunity to revive others, but try to be aware of your surroundings when doing this interaction. To win each round of Prisoner Rescue, your team must eliminate the opposing side or complete the objectives with the prisoners. During this time, you can achieve daily challenges, such as getting 10 Kills using Scavenger Perk, Get 3 Headshots with Battle Rifles, and many others.
